TAX PLANNING

Most individuals and businesses prepare and submit their taxes at the end of their tax year. At this point the amount of the taxes they owe or their refund cannot be altered. Tax preparation therefore is a matter of "after-the-facts".

Tax planning, on the other hand, is the approach to taxes that considers the end at the outset and then takes necessary actions, as provided for in tax law, to reduce the tax burden so that at the end of the tax period your tax burden has been significantly reduced.

We work with individuals and businesses and advise them on how to take advantage of the provisions of tax law to minimize their taxes.
